Missionary Serving at Lighthouse back

Esther Maxton ==Self-introduction== I'm from India. My first visit to Japan was in 1989 with my parents and siblings for a month of ministry in different churches on Honshu. Few years later, after finishing university in India I came back to Japan as a missionary. In the three years of ministry the Lord gave me special love for Japanese people. I also felt the need for theological training so I went to Belfast to do M.Th in Missions and also training at Belfast Bible College. After that I went to India to teach at Union Biblical Seminary but the Lord had different plans for me. He asked me to return to Japan and work at Lighthouse Church. Although I loved Japan it was I think, one of the most difficult decisions of my life. I returned to Japan as a missionary at Lighthouse Church in February of 2002. The Lord has blessed me and is teaching me new things everyday. It is a joy to work at Lighthouse. |

Heather McCullough ==Self-introduction== I am from Ireland from a town called Antrim. I first came to Japan 10 yeas ago. During that time I grew to love Japan and its people. I also grew to like the strange food they ate eg. anko, ichigo-daifuku,etc. My favourite dish is sukiyaki. I hope to teach English and encourage young christains in their walk with God. I am single so I have a lot of time and energy to give to people. |
