2008 Karuizawa Summer Conference
|
The conference will start on August 3rd at 10 am and go through Sunday afternoon August 10th. We have a great conference planned and the speaker from Germany is coming with a wonderful message on renewal in our spiritual life. Our speaker for the Conference for 2008 is Rev. Dave Rose.
Rev. Dave Rose will be speaking on the theme of "The Courage to be Weak" from 2nd Corinthians 12:9 during the 10 sessions. Come with open ears and open hearts and an open Bible to receive words of encouragement to walk with the Lord in your ministry another year.

The speakers introduction

We are happy to introduce Rev. Dave Rose. He is an Asian Director for the German Alliance Mission. He was raised in the USA and currently residing in Germany.
This year we have a great balanced music program with chorsus and hymns. There will be more instrument presentations during the ten sessions of the conference week.
The 2008 conference week will again be custom made to be full with a Children's program six mornings.
The children's program will provide a program during the morning sessions for English speaking children from ages 4-12. We again are looking forward to having Kathy and Deanna from Canada to lead the English speaking program.
The annual Youth Conference for ages Jr. High through college, which is from Monday to Wednesday noon (August 4th - 6th). We again are looking forward to a great staff and you attending this three day retreat as you make new friends and walk closer with God.

Other Events at the Conference
|
In addition to a series of six challenging messages both morning and evening sessions, we will also be having a Monday Family Night at the movies will again provide a full packed evening.
Thursday afternoon Ladies' Buffet, Saturday morning Men's Breakfast, and Friday noon Conference Picnic will add to the great fellowship of the week.
A special seminar on Friday morning will bring a challenge to all who minister in Japan. Outreach opportunities in Karuizawa.
A very special outreach opportunity event is planned during the conference, yet a restful atmosphere is available for you.
And don't forget! On Sunday morning we will be celebrating Communion!
